Description

  • Rid All Blue Liquid Anti-Ich is an aquarium pharmaceutical designed to treat Ichthyophthirius multifiliis, commonly known as “Ich” or “white spot” disease, in aquarium fish. It contains methylene blue, which acts as an anti-fungal and anti-parasitic agent, effectively eliminating Ich parasites within 24 hours for mild cases and within 3 days for persistent cases. The treatment also addresses other conditions like mouth and body fungi, fin and tail rot, torn fins, and sore spots. It can be used to sterilize aquarium tanks, though it may cause a temporary blue tint to the water and permanently stain silicone sealants.

    Usage Instructions:

    • For Ich: Add 5 ml (1 teaspoon) per 25 liters (5 gallons) of water upon first detection of white spots. Repeat on the second day for persistent cases.
    • For Tetra species, mormyrids, loaches, and baby fish: Use 5 ml per 40 liters of water and continue treatment for two days or until recovery.
    • For fungi, fin rot, etc.: Apply undiluted solution directly to affected areas with a cotton swab or soak the fish for 15 seconds in a solution of 5 ml per 5 liters of water.
    • Tank sterilization: Use 5 ml per 10 liters of water for 6 hours.
    • Precautions: Remove carbon from filters during treatment, as it can absorb the medication. Avoid overuse to prevent water parameter imbalances or staining. Not recommended for concurrent use with erythromycin or tetracycline antibiotics.

Note: The product may leave a blue or greenish tint in the aquarium and can stain equipment or clothing. Ensure you purchase authentic Rid All products to avoid ineffective duplicates.
